Technology Innovation through uncertain times

On August 6, 2020, the first of three City.AI panel discussions on Emerging Contactless AI Technologies was held. The panel explored the emergence of ‘Contactless AI Technology’ through uncertain times. Fascinating to see how companies are innovating rapidly to stay successful through these uncertain times.

Contactless technology enables transactions to be conducted more quickly, easily and securely. Given the advent of COVID-19, this type of technology is expected to grow and become even more widely used in the coming years. Technology companies will be expected to continue developing AI contactless technologies that enable businesses to support purchases, payments, identity verification, remote work environments (‘hoteling') and limiting liability / risks when offering such technologies.
